Located in historic downtown Troy, NY (home of Uncle Sam, Kate Mullaney and James Connelly...for a few years), The Counties of Ireland is not your "typical" Irish shop. We offer a unique and exclusive line of Irish clothing, jewelry, accessories and giftware. For over nineteen years we have tried to bring a little bit of Ireland to Upstate NY. All of our products are hand picked, manufactured and imported directly from Ireland because authenticity is very important to us.

The Counties of Ireland opened its doors in Troy in June 8, 2000 with the idea to bring a little bit of Ireland to upstate New York. In June, 2005, we opened our new store located a 77 Third Street, still in historic downtown Troy, making this our permanent home. Formerly the Cooper's Shoe Store in Troy ... our newly remodeled store is a spectacular sight with the original tin ceilings and hard rock maple floors.

Our store is new, but our mission is the same:

To bring something a little different to our customers ... something a little unique. We not only wanted to cater to our Irish customer but to any nationality! That is why we consider ourselves "Not your typical Irish shop!"

The Counties of Ireland online store is open 24 hours a day for your shopping needs. You can order online and have the option to pick up your order in the store (which will deduct the shipping charges during checkout).

In November of 2019, Robin opened a sister store in the gorgeous Village of Lake George, NY called Molly Malones Irish Shop. Originally opened in 2001 by Bill & Emily Manion. After a long & successful run, Bill and Emily decided to retire from the business. Robin was excited to expand her reach to the Lake George Region.
