Claddagh and Shamrock Flutes
This ancient craft of pewter making was revived in Ireland by Mullingar Pewter in 1974. Most of the pieces are still made in the traditional way by specially trained men and women in the old casting methods. These skills take years to acquire. About the only thing which has changed in pewter manufacturing is the composition of the materials. Today, the raw materials consist of 95% tin with the balance made up of copper and antimony. The products are guaranteed lead-free and quite safe to use for all kinds of food and drink.
These beautiful flutes combine two of Ireland's most recognizable symbols, the Claddagh and the Shamrock. With the Shamrocks starting at the base and growing up the stems in a lattice design until it reaches the Claddagh, these flutes are truly unique and special...just perfect to toast your special day and years to come!
These flutes come in a Mullingar Pewter gift box.
