Box of Peat - PLEASE READ ordering process!
Please understand that this box weighs almost 28lbs and shipping cost will depend on your delivery location. Our standard flat rate shipping does not apply to the box of peat. We can not combine any other items with shipping the peat. The box is secure however, the dust from the box will come out of the seams of the box and can cover other items. This is why we have chosen to ship this as a singular item in the box. How to order for shipping:

- We will send you the shipping quote options for both UPS & USPS.
- Once you receive your shipping quote and have made the selection on how you would like your order to ship, we will send you an invoice with a secure link to pay.
- You will receive a tracking number once this has left the store.

Black Sod now packs in a retail box Bord Na Mona original smokeless peat briquettes. These briquettes have been Irelands favorite solid fuel for over 60 years. Made from 100% natural and organic material, they are suitable for open fires or wood burning stoves. Black Sod peat Irish fire logs have a 2-3 hour burn time, a higher heat output than wood, and of course will create that homely feeling you can only get with the scent of burning real Irish peat. 2 fire logs will burn for about 3 hours in an open fireplace.
