This beautiful silver ARDA Necklet is inspired by an ancient Irish treasure, the Ardagh Chalice. The Ardagh Chalice was crafted in the 9th century AD. This treasure was then rediscovered in 1868 by two men digging in a ring fort in Ardagh, Co. Limerick and is a beautiful example of Celtic Irish metalwork. If you ever get the chance to visit Ireland, this chalice is now housed in the National Musuem in Dublin. The necklet is made of a modern silver belcher chain with a lozenge shaped link which is adorned with an 18ct gold cap. Until then, you can wear this beautiful piece of art around your neck. It will truely become a conversation piece.
Approximately 18" long with a toggle clasp.
