This sterling silver Cross, made by Celtic and Heraldic in Dublin, is inspired by one of Celtic Ireland's greatest treasures. The Ardagh Chalice was crafted in the 9th century AD. This treasure was then rediscovered in 1868 by two men digging in a ring fort in Ardagh, Co. Limerick and is a beautiful example of Celtic Irish metalwork. If you ever get the chance to visit, this chalice is now housed in the National Musuem in Dublin. Until then, you can wear this beautiful piece of art around you neck.
This cross comes gifted boxed on an 18" sterling silver chain and is also available in 10ct.
